Sometime overnight an owner's vehicle was broken into and the radio was stolen.

Sunday afternoon three male youths were spotted walking thru the complex pointing out various cars. One of the condo owners followed the youths as they were leaving the complex. as they walked out the entrance gate, the
gate was closing and they pushed it back to get thru, thus causing the gate to become stuck in the open position.
the condo owner spotted a police officer in the TX State building on Post Road and asked him what was appropriate to do at this point. he and the officer went to find the youths and talk to them about breaking the gate
and being on Travis Oaks property. The boys apologized and said they didn't intend to break the gate.
When the police/owner first saw the boys in the CVS parking lot, the oldest of the boys hid a box before the police talked to them. So, the owner/police found the box which contained 4 hubcaps. The police officer then arrested the boys and brought them via police cruiser to Travis oaks to find the car the hubcaps came from. Upon finding the car, the owner was searched for but was not home at the time.
The oldest boy was ticketed with breaking the gate, all were released to their guardians. The owner of the vehicle may still press charges against the boys. The HOA may press charges should there be expenses to fix the
gate.
The boys were told that if they are seen on Travis Oaks property again they will be picked up boy police and arrested.
September 25, 2007 - Adolescents walking thru complex, throwing rocks; broke thru fence
At approximately 3:45pm, 12 male youths were spotted walking thru the complex throwing rocks and generally being loud and insulting to neighbors. 911 was called and about 40 minutes later a police car drove thru. In the meantime, the youths kicked over chairs in the dog park and broke thru the wooden fence to gain access to the neighborhood behind Travis Oaks.
September 19th, 2007 - Motor scooter vandalized
Sometime early in the week of Sept. 19th, a neighbor's motorized scooter was vandalized while it was parked in covered parking. The lock was jimmied in an attempt to steal the vehicle.
September 18, 2007 - Possible attempted break in
At approximaely 3am, a neighbor's doorknob was rattled in what she guesses was an attempt to gain entry to her condo.
June 7, 2007 - Chairs stolen from DogPark area
At approximately 5:45pm, a white or hispanic man entered the dog park, took the two metal folding chairs, ran across the complex to behind the Travis County Office Building, threw them over the fence, and drove away in a white/tan 2 door car.
June 5, 2007 - Registration sticker stolen out of parked car
On the evening of June 5, the registration sticker was stolen out of a car parked in covered parking in the north east corner of the complex.
